As part of Electrification Software GE Vernova Services team, you will work closely with senior engineers for designing and implementing modules and components for software applications.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Complete an onboarding and training program to gain a deep understanding of our Java-based back-end architecture and Angular front-end framework before transitioning to active project development;
• Build server-side logic using Java and Spring Boot, assisting in the development of RESTful APIs and database interactions to support application features;
• Develop and maintain front-end components using Angular to create responsive, user-friendly interfaces, ensuring seamless integration with back-end services.

Required Qualifications:

• Good understanding of software programming and/or software integration concepts;
• Basic knowledge of OOP (object-oriented programming);
• Basic knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git;
• Basic knowledge of operating systems, such as Linux;
• Nice to have: programming skills in one of the commonly accepted languages ( Java, C/C++, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript etc).

Desired Characteristics:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate clearly;
• Demonstrated creative problem solving and proactive learning.
