The Crop Division of Great American has been helping generations of farmers take control of their risks since 1915. The D​ivision is also one of a select few private companies authorized by the United States Department of Agriculture Risk Management Agency (USDA RMA) to write MPCI policies. With six regional offices throughout the U.S., the teams provide tremendous expertise in the specific needs of farmers and crops.

We are seeking an Executive Assistant to support senior leaders within the Crop Division. This highly visible role serves as a trusted administrative partner, helping leaders stay focused on strategic and business priorities while ensuring daily operations, communications, meetings, and events are handled efficiently and professionally.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for the Crop Division’s President and supports other senior executives, providing proactive and confidential administrative support.
• Manage complex calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate time-sensitive priorities to promote an efficient flow of work and maximize executive time.
• Coordinate travel arrangements, itineraries, and related logistics as needed.
• Monitor, screen, prioritize, and route correspondence, inquiries, mail, and visitors using sound judgment and discretion.
• Draft, edit, format, and coordinate internal and external communications, reports, executive presentations, and meeting materials, including PowerPoint presentations.
• Plan and coordinate division meetings, employee and agency events, and leadership sessions, including agendas, materials, audiovisual needs, transportation, lodging, and other logistics.
• Maintain accurate organizational information and administrative records for the Division.
• Coordinate state filings for agent and adjuster training courses and continuing education credits.
• Support home office operations, maintain office supplies, and partner with corporate real estate and facilities teams to address workplace needs.
• Help plan and execute activities that strengthen the workplace environment and reinforce a positive company culture.
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource on Crop Division and company administrative policies, procedures, and practices.
• Build effective relationships across the Division and broader organization to help leaders and teams accomplish business objectives.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
• Generally, 3 to 5 years of experience supporting executives or providing high-level administrative support in a corporate environment.
• Strong organizational, planning, project coordination, and event management skills.
• Proven ability to anticipate needs, exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and manage multiple competing priorities with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of an organization.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to work on-site at the downtown Cincinnati headquarters five days per week.
