Join our Intellectual Property team as an Intern located in our Minneapolis office.
Position Summary:
The Law Clerk will assist and provide a wide range of support to the Intellectual Property department.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research on federal, state, and local laws, cases, and regulations.
- Assist in preparing memoranda, legal briefs, motions, and supporting documents under attorney supervision.
- Prepare case summaries and case updates.
- Assist in maintaining case calendar and docket entries.
- Help organize document productions and assist with review discovery
Skills and Competencies:
- High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Work efficiently with the ability to multi-task and set priorities while maintaining and delivering the highest quality work product accurately and timely.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor and presentation.
- Position also requires the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines, effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
Qualifications & Prior Experience:
- Currently pursuing a JD.
The expected pay range for this position is:
$30 per hour
Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.
