What You’ll Be Doing

  • Prepare and cook menu items to recipe standards while maintaining consistency and presentation quality
  • Collaborate closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth communication and execution during service
  • Execute kitchen operations with precision and efficiency in a high-volume, full-service environment
  • Set up, organize, and maintain well-stocked stations to support seamless service
  • Monitor and restock inventory to maintain readiness throughout shifts
  • Uphold high standards for food quality, timing, and plate presentation
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace at all times
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented environment with both back- and front-of-house staff

What You Need for this Position

  • Working knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, kitchen equipment, and cooking methods
  • Strong foundational knife skills and attention to detail
  • At least 1 year of experience in a full-service or upscale restaurant
  • Ability to stand and be active for extended periods (8+ hours)
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and perform physically demanding tasks as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
  • Comfort working safely with kitchen equipment and cleaning chemicals
  • Commitment to following all health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining consistency and focus
