Senior Manager, Coach & Instructor Enablement — Multiverse IO
Multiverse is the upskilling platform for AI and Tech adoption.
We have partnered with 1,500+ companies to deliver a new kind of learning that's transforming today’s workforce.
Our upskilling apprenticeships are designed for people of any age and career stage to build critical AI, data, and tech skills. Our learners have driven $2bn+ ROI for their employers, using the skills they’ve learned to improve productivity and measurable performance.
In April 2026, we announced $70 million in strategic funding, led by Schroders Capital, with participation from StepStone Group, Lightspeed Venture Partners and General Catalyst. At an increased valuation of $2.1bn, the round makes us Europe’s first EdTech double unicorn.
But we aren’t stopping there. With a strong operational footprint and 800+ employees, we have ambitious plans to continue scaling. We’re building a world where tech skills unlock people’s potential and output.
Join Multiverse and power our mission to equip the workforce to win in the AI era.
Senior Manager, Coach & Instructor Enablement
FTC 14 months
Coach & Instructor Enablement exists to make the delivery organisation measurably better at retaining learners and delivering successful outcomes consistently, predictably and at scale.
You will enhance our existing strategy and lead the team through its exciting next stage of growth. The team will form around four capability pillars and a new Enablement Operations platform. You will be building that structure while it delivers across a large delivery organisation that supports thousands of learners. Priorities will shift underneath you as delivery data moves, and part of the job is deciding what starts, what stops, and most importantly what must not slip.
This is a role for a strong operator who excels at influencing and collaborating across complex teams and departments. A proven track record of getting work done across teams with clear asks, embedding shared measures of success, and creating an environment where there is no ambiguity about who owns what is are the keys to success within this role.
You will lead a team of six specialists supporting hundreds of coaches and instructors across all learner programmes.
What you'll own
- Delivery Fundamentals: the standard for what good coaching and instruction look like, QA against that standard, calibration in partnership with Delivery and Quality
- Operational & Regulatory Change: every coach and instructor has the process, tooling and regulatory knowledge to deliver, and gets it before the change reaches a learner.
- Technical Skills & Programme Requirements: coaches and instructors are current and designated on the technical content they deliver.
- Timely Assessment & Achievement: shared ownership for timely learner achievement.
- Enablement Operations & Systems: the foundation underneath all four.
Key Responsibilities
- Set the direction and deliver results.. Define the owner, mandate and measures for each pillar, help prioritise and sequence work, and make trade-offs needed to deliver the greatest business impact.
- Build Enablement Operations SMEs own skills and requirements while operations gets the enablement to the right people, on time, and tracks who did it.
- Prioritise and re-prioritise without drama. Run a single visible enablement roadmap, say no clearly, and re-sequence when delivery data, business need or regulatory change demands it.
- Delivering through other teams. Partner with Learning on programme and content change, Operations on process, Quality on the coaching standard, and Delivery on learner retention and achievement.
- Close the feedback loop with Delivery Leadership. React to performance trends from monthly calibration, observations and delivery data.
- Lead and develop six specialists through regular 1:1s, feedback, and clear individual measures.
Skills & Qualifications
- A proven track record of balancing cross functional relationships and their priorities while still delivering impact in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- A demonstrable operator. You have taken something loosely defined and made it run: clear owners, measures, cadence, reporting. You are comfortable in the detail and you finish things.
- Fluent cross-functionally. You have delivered outcomes that depended almost entirely on teams you did not manage, and you can explain exactly how.
- Comfortable in ambiguity and shifting priorities. You decide on incomplete information, name the risk you are accepting, and change course without losing momentum or the team's confidence.
- Data-led. You use performance data to decide where to intervene and to hold others accountable.
- AI-native operator. You build cadences that use AI to do the collating and chasing, so the process scales with the team rather than growing headcount alongside it.
- Experience of enablement, L&D, capability building, delivery operations or quality in an at-scale frontline organisation.
- Apprenticeships, regulated education or another regulated delivery environment is a strong advantage. You can hold quality, compliance and pace at the same time.
- Excellent written and verbal communication. You can write the one-pager a senior leader acts on, and run the calibration session a coach finds useful.
