Job Description:

The Professional Education Worker at Georgia Piedmont Technical College supports and facilitates various educational and training programs for adult learners, ensuring high-quality instruction and a positive learning environment.

Job Responsibilities**

* Deliver engaging and effective instruction in assigned subject areas, utilizing diverse teaching methodologies. * Develop and update curriculum materials, lesson plans, and assessments in accordance with program objectives and industry standards. * Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate learning and skill development. * Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and program completion. * Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to enhance program offerings and address student needs. * Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in adult education and relevant industry trends. * Provide guidance and mentorship to students, assisting them with academic and career planning. * Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all participants. * Assist with outreach and recruitment efforts for professional education programs.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution. * Minimum of three years of experience in teaching, training, or professional development, preferably with adult learners. * Demonstrated expertise in the subject matter being taught. * Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in using educational technology and learning management systems. * Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications for this position will be determined by the teaching discipline and compliance with appropriate accrediting bodies. Faculty must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the course assigned
