Laundry Aide

This individual operates laundry truck and delivers linens to off-site user areas; delivers linens and picks up soiled linens at off-site user areas. Builds and distributes exchange carts at off-site user areas.

- High School diploma or GED equivalent highly preferred - Ability to follow directions - On the job training provided - Clear driving record; no moving violations - Drives truck and delivers exchange carts with clean linens to off-site user areas - Folds bath towels, blankets, thermal blankets, gowns and other laundry - Loads and sets up exchange carts to be delivered to user and ancillary departments - Sorts and stocks linen items - Stocks linen closet on nursing - Make special deliveries to departments upon request - Picks up exchange carts from user departments daily - Perform other related duties as assigned - Picks up soiled linens in carts

Willing to work some weekends and evening shift and holidays if needed
