WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING | THE ROLE
- Travel to patient homes to conduct visits
- Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment
- Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participant
- Perform echocardiograms per protocol on adult and pediatric patients
- Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging
- Follow sponsor and protocol-specific imaging guidelines
- Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper labeling for cardiology review
- Complete preliminary report with measurements and sonographer comments
- Maintain high-quality standards consistent with ASE Standards
- Perform basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment
WHAT YOU BRING | REQUIREMENTS
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from ARDMS, or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from CCI .
- Certification in Adult (AE) is required, Pediatric (PE) certification not required but a plus
- 3+ years of recent sonography experience, in both adult and pediatrics
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally/regionally
- Access to a personal computer and reliable internet required; Tech savvy and self sufficient with digital tools
- Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings
- Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
- Adaptability in dynamic, field-based environments
- Time management and organizational skills
