Financial Analyst-Lease Enablement
Description -
Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Business Finance support for the Integrated Leasing business, including account-level P&L analysis, revenue, cost, margin, profitability reporting, and identification of key financial drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Support deal-level forecasting, financial analysis, and profitability assessment, ensuring accurate business and operational inputs are reflected in forecasts, and perform forecast-versus-actual analysis to identify variances and improve forecast accuracy.
- Prepare financial reporting, dashboards, management analysis, scenario modelling, and business insights to support planning, budgeting, forecasting, business reviews, and operational decision-making.
- Partner with Customer Delivery Managers and Contract Management Operations to monitor deal and account profitability and support the end-to-end leasing lifecycle, including lease initiation, asset installation, billing, and revenue realization.
- Monitor and support timely and accurate customer billing, identifying potential delays or process gaps following lease initiation and asset installation and coordinating with relevant teams to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with Business Finance, Compliance, Analytics, and Operations to resolve financial issues, improve data quality, maintain financial controls, and provide accurate inputs to the Services business unit.
- Support process improvements, reporting enhancements, automation, and standardization within finance processes, while developing a strong understanding of the Leasing Ecosystem, business processes, systems, and financial drivers.
- Maintain high standards of financial accuracy, compliance, data integrity, and operational rigor, while building strong relationships with business and operational stakeholders and continuously developing commercial and financial expertise.
- Support high-impact business initiatives, coordinating finance activities and collaborating with analysts and finance teams across functions and geographies to deliver business outcomes.
Education and Experience Required:
- First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CA, CPA, MBA) preferred.
- Typically 8+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
- Typically experienced in more than one finance function.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles focused on leasing and financial analysis, with advanced knowledge in one area.
