Join the global #HyperXFamily and learn how our products can enhance your experience by boosting performance for your PC, consoles, and mobile devices. No matter your skill level, preferred genre, or play style, we embrace gaming enthusiasts everywhere with our core belief - We’re All Gamers.

The Role

We are seeking a Product Manager to lead peripheral strategy within our extended ecosystems (HyperX, Xbox, Sony). HyperX is building Instant Pair into the connectivity backbone for how our peripherals show up everywhere gamers play.

We're hiring a product leader to own that entire arc: define what Instant Pair is as a product, make it great on notebook today, and build the roadmap for where it goes next. This role will be the connective tissue between our peripheral hardware roadmap, the notebook/software team's platform work, and managing ecosystems across PC and console.

Responsibilities

  • Write and maintain the product definition for Instant Pair: what it is, what it isn't, who it's for, and what "great" looks like across device categories
  • Establish the north star vision for Instant Pair as a cross-platform connectivity standard, not a single-feature integration
  • Partner closely with UX, Software, Engineering, and Design to define the end-to-end behaviors: pairing flow, re-pairing/recovery, multi-device handling, and in-app (NGENUITY) status and controls
  • Own the definition and prioritization of the Instant Pair experience within the current notebook ecosystem, working directly with the notebook/desktop/software team on compatibility, firmware, and roadmap sequencing
  • Help shape and manage the depth of what HyperX products look like within each console ecosystem, working alongside HyperX's platform alliance owners
  • Define the product experience and feature depth appropriate to each platform (Xbox, PlayStation, and beyond), not just whether Instant Pair is present
  • Bring peripherals' product perspective into how those ecosystem relationships translate into actual product decisions and roadmap

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally spanning hardware and connected/companion software
  • Experience owning a product or feature that spans multiple host platforms or ecosystems (not just a single device line)
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and building structure where none exists yet, this role is defining a category as much as managing one
  • Experience working with or alongside platform alliance/BD teams (console, OEM, or similar) is a strong plus
  • Track record partnering deeply with UX and Design on end-to-end experience, not just specs
  • RF, wireless connectivity, or peripheral hardware background is a plus but not required
  • Excellent cross-functional influence: this person will drive outcomes across two product orgs and external partners without direct authority over most of them

The pay range for this role is $105,050 to $161,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
