As GDN Talent Acquisition Manager, you will lead the Selections Specialists & Pipeline Coordinators, driving team leadership, strategy development, and execution. You will partner with key stakeholders to identify emerging trends and opportunities that impact Talent Acquisition.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Lead Team Strategy Development: Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to achieve business outcomes, enabling the team to enhance skills and amplify creativity and innovation.
• Coach and Enable Team: Coach team members to enhance skills, and provide guidance on best practices to ensure goal achievement and exceptional performance.
• Partner with Stakeholders: Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify emerging trends and opportunities that impact and influence Talent Acquisition, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Drive Business Outcomes: Focus on achieving business outcomes through effective talent acquisition strategies, program design, and implementation.
• Design and Implement Programs: Design and implement programs to support talent acquisition goals, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality results.
- Native/Fluent Japanese Language Proficiency: Native-level or business-fluent Japanese language skills (spoken and written) are required to effectively engage with Japanese stakeholders, candidates, and business leaders. The successful candidate must be based/relocate in Malaysia.
- Talent Acquisition Leadership: Proven experience leading high-performing, cross-functional recruitment teams, including recruiters, sourcing specialists, coordinators, and onboarding professionals, to deliver business outcomes and achieve strategic hiring objectives.
- Talent Acquisition Strategy: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute end-to-end talent acquisition strategies, programs, and initiatives that align with business priorities, address workforce needs, and drive measurable results.
- People Development and Coaching: Strong experience coaching, mentoring, and developing team members to enhance capability, foster innovation, and build a high-performing culture within a dynamic talent acquisition environment.
- Stakeholder Management and Business Partnership: Proven ability to build trusted partnerships with senior business leaders and key stakeholders, leveraging market insights and emerging talent trends to influence hiring strategies and support business growth.
- Program Design and Operational Excellence: Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing talent acquisition programs, processes, and initiatives that improve efficiency, elevate candidate experience, and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality hiring outcomes.
- Experience supporting recruitment across Japan or partnering closely with Japanese business stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of the Japanese talent market, hiring practices, and cultural nuances.
- Experience managing recruitment operations within a shared services, global delivery, or multinational environment.
- Ability to lead geographically dispersed teams and operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
