Brand & Communications Lead

Inca Digital, Inc.

United States

About Us: Inca Digital is a veteran-owned data and intelligence company delivering digital-asset analytics for exchanges, financial institutions, regulators, and blockchain ecosystems. By fusing data across blockchains, exchanges, social networks, and markets, our platform delivers market surveillance, ecosystem monitoring, and counter–illicit finance intelligence to help clients manage risk and make better decisions. We operate as a fast-paced, fully remote, global tech team driven by an asynchronous-first workflow, minimal meetings, and logic over authority. Here, you'll collaborate with top-tier intelligence analysts, defense veterans, data engineers, quant researchers, and linguists to solve complex global challenges.

We are hiring for a dedicated marketing and communications role in support of a new venture we are incubating — a digital asset protection and incident response platform preparing for public launch.

Role Overview: This platform is built for a world where on-chain threats are real, fast, and consequential. We are preparing for launch, and we need a marketing and communications operator who can own the public-facing side of this business from day one.

You will sit within Inca Digital's marketing and communications team, with access to a graphic designer, video editor, and marketing colleagues, while dedicating your focus entirely to this new venture. What we need from you is everything else: the strategy, the voice, the hustle, and the follow-through. You will help shape the brand identity, build the launch playbook, execute it, and iterate fast. You will not be handed a system, you will build one.

The audience is primarily consumer-facing, starting with high-net-worth individuals and influential voices in the crypto space before expanding to the broader public. There is also a meaningful B2B dimension, with platforms as a key target.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the launch. Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the platform's public debut, including timing, channel mix, narrative, and sequencing across the product rollout.
  • Define and build the brand voice. The tone is not yet established — that is part of the job. Develop a brand identity and voice that earns trust in a serious, technical space without losing accessibility to a broad consumer audience.
  • Run the socials. Manage and grow the platform's presence across relevant channels. Set the tone, maintain consistency, and build an audience from the ground up.
  • Activate influencers and partners. Identify, sign, and manage relationships with creators and voices in the crypto and web3 space who can amplify the platform's message authentically.
  • Drive content production. Produce and coordinate written, visual, and video content across formats — threads, long-form posts, short-form clips, explainers, and more. Comfortable chopping and repurposing video content for distribution.
  • Book and prepare for appearances. Coordinate podcast placements, interviews, and conference appearances. Prepare briefs and talking points; attend events as needed.
  • Write for the brand. Draft press releases, announcements, newsletters, and platform copy across consumer and B2B contexts.
  • Manage the calendar. Own the content and campaign calendar. Stay ahead of product milestones, industry moments, and distribution windows.
  • Track what works. Monitor performance across channels, pull insights, and use them to sharpen what comes next.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3–6 years of experience in marketing, communications, or growth — ideally at a startup, crypto-native company, or fast-moving tech environment.
  • Demonstrably crypto and/or web3 native. You understand how this industry works, who the players are, and how trust is built (and lost) in these communities.
  • Proven ability to operate independently. You have built or executed campaigns without a large team behind you and have the output to show for it.
  • Strong writer. You can explain complex technical concepts in plain language without dumbing them down.
  • Hands-on content skills. You are comfortable working with video (chopping, captioning, repurposing), designing or briefing simple assets, and producing content at pace.
  • Self-directed and aggressive. You set your own priorities, move fast, and push for outcomes. You do not wait to be told what to do next.
  • Strong project management. You can hold multiple workstreams simultaneously and hit deadlines without being chased.
  • Cultural fit. You thrive in early-stage, high-ambiguity environments and take ownership without ego.

Bonus Points / Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in cybersecurity, digital asset recovery, fraud, or financial crime — or a track record of going deep on a technical vertical quickly.
  • Experience taking a company or product from pre-launch to market.
  • Familiarity with the influencer and creator economy in crypto: who moves audiences and what converts.
  • Existing audience or network in crypto/web3.
