Job Summary

The Onsite Representative Lead is responsible for coordinating daily onsite inventory management activities, serving as the primary point of contact for operational issues, and ensuring exceptional customer support. The Lead provides direction and support to Onsite Representatives, oversees inventory performance, drives process improvements, and works collaboratively with customers and internal teams to resolve supply chain issues.

Accountability and Scope

  • Oversee and coordinate daily onsite inventory management and replenishment activities.
  • Act as the primary customer contact for operational issues, escalations, and service-related concerns.
  • Coordinate activities and provide guidance, support, and training to Onsite Representatives.
  • Liaise with customers and internal departments to resolve inventory, supply chain, quality, and service issues.
  • Monitor operational performance and ensure compliance with company and customer requirements.
  • Produce, analyze, and communicate operational reports, inventory metrics, and performance indicators.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement through analysis of inventory and supply chain data.
  • Lead implementation of new line-side locations, inventory programs, customer requirements, and process changes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support a safe and hazard-free workplace and ensure adherence to all environmental, health, and safety requirements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customer leadership and key stakeholders.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prioritize daily activities for Onsite Representatives to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Serve as the escalation point for inventory shortages, quality issues, material expedites, and customer concerns.
  • Partner with Customer Program Supervisors, Customer Program Managers, Operations, Purchasing, and other internal departments to resolve issues.
  • Review inventory data, replenishment activity, and customer demand trends to identify and address potential supply risks.
  • Generate, maintain, and distribute operational metrics and performance reports.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies, service failures, and supply chain disruptions, and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead efforts related to bin sizing, min/max adjustments, new part introductions, and inventory optimization.
  • Coordinate implementation of new customer requirements, inventory systems, and operational processes.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Train and mentor Onsite Representatives on procedures, systems, safety requirements, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Participate in customer reviews, audits, operational meetings, and performance discussions.
  • Monitor housekeeping, inventory presentation, and workplace organization standards.
  • Support staffing coverage, workload balancing, and operational continuity as needed.
  • Travel between customer locations as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
