About the Role

At Cencora, this role is instrumental in building a high-performing, well-prepared workforce across supply chain planning and operations. You will lead the strategy and execution of training programs that equip teams with the knowledge, tools, and confidence they need to succeed in a dynamic operational environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead training programs that support supply chain planning and operational processes, helping ensure workforce readiness, standardized execution, and long-term performance.
• Oversee the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of training curricula, learning pathways, job aids, and process documentation aligned with operational needs and business priorities.
• Drive training deployment for new processes, systems, network changes, and operational initiatives to improve adoption, minimize disruption, and promote consistency across teams.
• Partner closely with operations, quality, technology, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify capability gaps, prioritize learning needs, and align training solutions with business goals.
• Establish training governance, schedules, and delivery plans to support onboarding, upskilling, compliance, and recurring readiness requirements.
• Measure training effectiveness through assessments, performance metrics, and stakeholder feedback, using insights to continuously improve learning outcomes and address recurring challenges.
• Lead team performance, resource planning, and talent development to maintain high delivery quality, strengthen instructional capabilities, and adapt to evolving operational demands.

What We’re Looking For

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, operations management, business administration, education, or a related field — or equivalent experience — required
• Master’s degree in supply chain, logistics, operations management, business administration, education, or a related field — or equivalent experience — preferred

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in training, learning and development, operational excellence, supply chain operations, or a related field required
• 5+ years of experience in a management capacity required

Preferred Certifications

• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM), or equivalent certification preferred
• Lean Six Sigma or equivalent certification preferred
• ATD Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD), Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD), or equivalent certification preferred
