Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Manages and maintains country payroll processing schedules and ensures all deadlines are met.
- Compiles, prepares, enters, and verifies payroll information feeds to produce timely and accurate paychecks for 500+ associates.
- Verifies deductions for stock, garnishments, social security, and income tax, to ensure each are applied accurately and in accordance with country-specific requirements.
- Processes and obtains proper approval for special payroll transactions such as commissions, discretionary bonuses, stock, and TrueBlue awards.
- Audits all payroll calculations to ensure earnings (daily salary, over-time, holiday, vacation, etc.) are calculated correctly and in accordance with country specific statues.
- Maintains and oversees all country specific reporting including payroll tax filings, year-end statements, etc.
- Periodically reviews and updates payroll checklists, procedures, and continuity plans, to ensure accuracy and efficiency with processes.
- Properly administers all payroll-related functions in compliance with the Corporate Payroll Department’s standard operating procedures.
- Audits and approves all payroll transactions to ensure compliance from a tax and company policy perspective.
- Responsible for all facets of payroll processing including data received from HR systems, time-keeping system(s), and benefit file feeds.
- Promptly researches and responds to employee, manager, internal clients, and external source inquiries.
- Communicates issues and/or irregularities to Manager in a timely fashion.
- Conducts research and follows guidelines to ensure payroll compliance with the country laws.
- Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality relative to personal data, salary data, and associate benefits information maintained within the HRIS system.
Work Experience:
- 3-5 years of Lithuania and EMEA payroll processing experience strongly preferred.
Skill and Knowledge:
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong basic skills of working with MS Excel;
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex payroll issues and provide effective solutions.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Salary range:
3129.79 - 4471.10 EUR gross monthly
