  • Own assigned areas of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring transactions are accurate, complete, properly documented, and delivered within established deadlines.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop accounting team members by providing direction, technical guidance, performance feedback, workload prioritization, and career development support.

  • Support internal and external audits by coordinating information requests, reviewing supporting schedules, and ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Lead or participate in special projects, system implementations, reporting enhancements, accounting analyses, and other initiatives that improve the effectiveness of the accounting function.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial, employee, and organizational information.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end close responsibilities.
  • 2+ years of supervisory, team leadership, or people management experience.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal control principles.
  • Public accounting experience and/or experience supporting internal or external audits.
  • Active CPA license.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet demanding deadlines, and guide a team through time-sensitive close cycles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain accounting concepts and issues to non-accounting stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build effective relationships across functions and organizational levels.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify root causes, recommend solutions, and implement practical process improvements.
