Sr Salesforce Consultant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Salesforce Consultant based in the United States (Remote).

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Consultant to support federal and public sector initiatives through business-focused Salesforce delivery. You’ll serve as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, translating mission and operational needs into actionable requirements. The role spans discovery, process analysis, Agile delivery, testing, and stakeholder engagement across the Salesforce lifecycle. You’ll work with administrators, developers, architects, product owners, and project leaders to ensure solutions meet business and regulatory expectations. This is an opportunity to contribute to complex, highly regulated programs where strong analysis and communication skills have a direct impact on delivery outcomes. An active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Accountabilities:

• Support end-to-end Salesforce delivery across Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and custom CRM solutions, with a strong focus on business analysis and requirements definition.
• Serve as a trusted liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout discovery, design, development, testing, and delivery.
• Lead discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements-gathering activities to identify business, functional, reporting, and operational needs.
• Analyze and document current-state and future-state processes, workflows, use cases, and business requirements to support effective solution design.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements aligned with Agile or hybrid Agile methodologies.
• Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators, Developers, Architects, Product Owners, and project leadership to ensure requirements are understood and solutions align with stakeholder expectations.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, prioritization, and other Agile delivery activities.
• Validate requirements and proposed solutions through walkthroughs, prototypes, stakeholder reviews, and iterative feedback.
• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenario development, execution support, defect triage, and final stakeholder sign-off.
• Ensure Salesforce solutions and delivery processes align with applicable federal governance, security, data, and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to change management activities, including process documentation, training materials, and stakeholder communications.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 6–8 years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst, Salesforce Consultant, Functional Analyst, CRM Consultant, or in a closely related role, with at least 10 years of overall professional experience.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, as required for the government contract.
• Demonstrated experience supporting Salesforce implementations within federal, public sector, government, or other highly regulated environments.
• Strong business analysis capabilities, including requirements elicitation, process modeling, user story creation, acceptance criteria development, and functional requirements documentation.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid Agile delivery environments.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable functional requirements without being directly responsible for Salesforce configuration or development.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities sufficient to participate in solution discussions and collaborate effectively with technical teams; hands-on configuration experience is not required.
• Experience working on large, multi-stakeholder programs involving diverse user groups and complex organizational requirements.
• Salesforce Certified Administrator certification or another relevant Salesforce certification preferred.
• Additional Business Analysis, Agile, or Salesforce Consultant-level certifications are a plus.
• Willingness to maintain relevant Salesforce certifications and pursue additional certifications as required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
• Ability to build productive relationships with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Successful completion of applicable pre-employment requirements.
• Estimated starting salary range of $120,000–$140,000 per year, with compensation commensurate with experience.
