Job Description:
Responsible for production planning, execution, and material control across external manufacturing partners (OSATs). This role works closely with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure production schedules support customer demand, inventory targets, and delivery commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate the Master Production Schedule (MPS) into weekly and daily production plans for assigned subcontractors.
- Monitor production performance, including WIP, cycle time, output, and on-time delivery.
- Review subcontractor capacity against forecasted demand and identify potential constraints or supply risks.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to resolve production, material, and capacity issues.
- Track and report key operational metrics, including Schedule Adherence, Cycle Time, and On-Time Delivery.
- Support inventory management and supply-demand balancing activities.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure smooth production execution.
- Participate in operational reviews and continuous improvement initiatives with OSAT partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience
- 6+ years of experience in production planning, supply planning, manufacturing operations, or supply chain planning within the semiconductor or electronics industry.
- Experience working with subcontract manufacturers or OSAT partners is preferred.
- Familiarity with capacity planning, inventory management, and production scheduling processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel.
- Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing operations, including Bump, Assembly, and Test processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
