💻 Role
We’re looking for a Senior Creative Operations Program Manager to lead large, high-visibility campaigns across the Whatnot brand. This person will sit at the center of Creative, Marketing, and Catex teams, bringing structure to complex initiatives, aligning stakeholders, and keeping work moving from kickoff through launch. You’ll manage multiple priorities at once, anticipate risks, and ensure the team has the clarity and resources needed to deliver great creative work.
What You’ll Own:
- Campaign program leadership. Lead multiple complex, high-visibility campaigns from kickoff through launch. Build clear project plans that align stakeholders around scope, milestones, owners, approvals, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Prioritization and resourcing. Partner with creative leadership to evaluate incoming requests, sequence work, and focus the team on the highest-impact priorities. Maintain a clear view of capacity and flag when timelines, scope, or resources need to shift.
- Cross-functional alignment and decision-making. Bring Creative, Marketing, and partner teams together around shared goals and clear expectations. Lead working sessions and reviews that drive timely decisions, establish ownership, and keep work moving.
- Communication and relationship building. Build trust through clear, thoughtful communication tailored to different audiences. Navigate complex interpersonal dynamics with empathy and confidence while contributing to a collaborative, solutions-oriented team culture.
- Risk and dependency management. Anticipate challenges, identify critical dependencies, and surface tradeoffs early. Resolve blockers before they put timelines, budgets, or creative quality at risk.
- Creative operations and ways of working. Build and refine practical workflows that make it easier for the team to collaborate and deliver great work. Introduce the right amount of structure without creating unnecessary process or slowing the team down.
- Program visibility and measurement. Create a clear view of what’s in flight, what’s at risk, and where decisions are needed. Define success, track progress and outcomes, and apply learnings to make future programs stronger.
We offer flexibility to work from home or from one of our global office hubs, and we value in-person time for planning, problem-solving, and connection. Team members in this role must live within commuting distance of our San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, and New York City hubs.
👋 You
People who do well at Whatnot tend to be comfortable figuring things out as they go, biased toward action, and genuinely curious about what they’re building. They care more about outcomes than credit and stay close to the product and the people using it.
For this role specifically, you should have:
- 6+ years of experience in creative, marketing, or design program management, ideally at a high-growth consumer company, marketplace, or creator-focused platform. You’ve worked closely with Creative, Marketing, and GTM teams from early planning through final delivery.
- A track record of leading complex, integrated campaigns. You’ve successfully managed large-scale brand initiatives with multiple workstreams, stakeholders, deliverables, and dependencies, bringing structure to the work without slowing it down.
- Strong creative production fluency. You understand how creative work moves from brief and concept through reviews, production, and launch. You know what teams need to do their best work and can build realistic timelines around the creative process.
- Exceptional prioritization and project management instincts. You can separate urgent from important, assess tradeoffs, and translate shifting priorities into a clear plan. You’re highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to keep several initiatives moving at once.
- Clear communication and strong relationship-building skills. You can turn messy information, competing opinions, and complex blockers into clear recommendations.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ownership. You operate independently, identify what needs to happen next, and move work forward without waiting for perfect direction. When a problem arises, you bring practical solutions—not just the problem.
- Operational and analytical judgment. You use data to identify issues, measure progress, and improve how teams work. You’re comfortable managing vendors and contractors and adapting project management, resourcing, and reporting tools to fit the team’s needs.
