Summary As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that involve designing, coding, and enhancing various components across systems or applications. Your typical day will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement modern frameworks and agile practices, ensuring the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions that meet specific business requirements. You will also participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural discussions, and continuously seek opportunities for improvement in the software development lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Collaborate with and manage the team to perform effectively.

Take responsibility for team decisions.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.

Provide solutions to problems for both immediate and cross-functional teams.

Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.

Professional & Technical Skills Must Have Skills Proficiency in Kubernetes.

Strong understanding of container orchestration and management.

Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting.

Cloud experience, preferably Azure Cloud and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

CI/CD experience, especially with GitHub / GitHub Actions.

Strong scripting/automation skills (Bash, Git workflows).

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Backend & API Expertise Minimum 8 years experience working on backend systems for product availability APIs (store/warehouse).

Key Skills: Java, Microservices, Kubernetes, GitHub, Azure, SQL.

Expertise in software architecture for high availability, low latency, highly resilient, and large-scale microservices serving large datasets ( 100M rows).

Secondary Skills (Good to Have) GitOps practices and tools such as ArgoCD.

Experience with open-source platform tools like Kyverno, OpenTelemetry, NGINX.

Monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk or Grafana.

Additional exposure to GitHub Actions, Splunk, GitHub.

Additional Information The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Kubernetes.

This position is based at our Gurugram office.

A 15 years full-time education is required.
