Sales Management Consulting Manager

Role Overview

As part of our Sales Advisory practice, you will help clients solve complex sales, customer and commercial challenges through the design and implementation of business, operating model and digital transformation initiatives.

As a Manager (CL7), you will lead multiple workstreams and teams while acting as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders. You will be responsible for shaping transformation strategies, structuring and leading delivery teams, driving stakeholder alignment and ensuring measurable business outcomes. The role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, consulting leadership, commercial acumen and delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities

We’re seeking candidates with 7-10 years of relevant experience in management consulting, sales transformation, customer transformation, CRM transformation and/or digital transformation.

Client Advisory & Problem Solving

• Lead the diagnosis of complex sales, customer and commercial challenges spanning multiple functions and teams.
• Help clients define and execute sales transformation strategies, sales operating models, go-to-market approaches and customer growth initiatives.
• Advise clients on CRM strategy, customer lifecycle management, sales process transformation and technology-enabled customer engagement.
• Structure ambiguous business problems and develop practical, actionable recommendations that drive measurable outcomes.
• Advise clients on sales strategy, customer engagement, acquisition, retention, digital enablement and operating model design.
• Lead stakeholder workshops and facilitate alignment across multiple business functions and leadership groups.

Team & Engagement Leadership

• Leading multiple interdependent workstreams and coordinating activities across consulting, technology and client teams to deliver transformational outcomes.
• Provide direction, coaching and oversight to consultants and analysts across engagements.
• Manage delivery risks, dependencies and quality across multiple streams of work.
• Create clarity and momentum within complex transformation environments while balancing competing stakeholder priorities.
• Drive accountability and high performance across team members and delivery teams.

Commercial & Growth Leadership

• Identify opportunities to expand client value and support account growth.
• Contribute to proposal development, solution shaping and sales pursuits.
• Help build client relationships and establish trusted advisor status with senior stakeholders.
• Support the development of practice capabilities, assets and go-to-market offerings within Sales & Commerce.
• Change & Transformation
• Lead the design and implementation of people, process, technology and change interventions.
• Drive adoption of new ways of working, ensuring recommendations translate into sustainable business outcomes.
• Guide clients through organisational and operating model changes required to improve commercial performance and customer experience.
• Support organisations in leveraging data, digital platforms and AI-enabled capabilities to drive growth and productivity.

Required Experience

• Proven management consulting experience across sales transformation, customer transformation, commercial strategy or digital transformation.
• Experience leading multiple workstreams or complex strategic initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior management stakeholders.
• Experience designing and implementing sales operating models, go-to-market strategies, sales enablement or customer growth initiatives.
• Experience leading CRM-enabled transformation initiatives, including customer engagement, sales process redesign, operating model transformation, CRM adoption, and technology-enabled business change.
• Experience working with leading CRM and customer platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Adobe, HubSpot or similar) to support customer, sales and commercial transformation outcomes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to structure ambiguous business challenges.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams within client-facing environments.

• Experience across B2B and/or B2C customer environments.
