  • Investigate supplier quality and launch issues, drive containment and root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
  • Escalate supplier risks, validation gaps, technical issues, part availability concerns, and launch blockers with clear facts, owners, timing, and recommended actions.
  • Travel up to 20–30% to supplier sites, Lucid manufacturing locations, and launch support activities.

You Bring:

  • BS in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline; MS preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing, supplier industrialization, supplier quality, quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, or launch engineering experience in automotive electronics, ADAS, ECUs, PCBAs, sensors, TLAs, or related systems.
  • Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, LQP or equivalent launch approval processes, supplier readiness, process validation, run-at-rate, safe launch, and production ramp.
  • Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing, including SMT, PCBA assembly, soldering, ECU/TLA assembly, automated inspection, ICT, EOL testing, functional testing, and environmental validation.
  • Working knowledge of IPC standards, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 16750, ISO 7637, AEC-Q100/AEC-Q200, and ISO 26262 functional safety principles.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, drawings, BOMs, specifications, test requirements, control plans, PFMEAs, process flows, and supplier manufacturing documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving and quality methods knowledge, including SPC, MSA, Gage R&R, process capability, PFMEA, 8D, 5-Why, fishbone, DOE, CAPA, and risk-based process controls.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, technical writing, executive communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills in a fast-paced launch environment.
  • ASQ CQE, Six Sigma, VDA 6.3, IATF auditor, IPC certification, or functional safety training preferred.
