Surgical Scrub Tech (CST)

Job Description:

The Surgical Scrub Tech position works under the direction of a registered nurse or licensed practitioner, this position is responsible for performing a variety of duties in an operating room to assist the surgical team in support of the nursing vision. Plans and implements care for patients with a variety of surgical problems. EDUCATION: Associates Degree-Surgical Technologist from an accredited school required.

EXPERIENCE: Up to 6 months on the job experience and training as a surgical technologist preferred.

CERTIFICATE, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: BLS certification within 3 months of employment required. Scrub Tech Certification (CST) required.
