Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in prep work for breakthrough value stream kaizen events including baseline data collection, time observations and process mapping as assigned.
  • Participate in and Facilitate Practical Problem-Solving Initiatives and Kaizen Event/Bursts/Go-gets following MasterBrand Way as needed.
  • Manage Standard operations documents including creation and updating of Standard Operating Sheets (SOS), standard work packets and TPMs among other documents.
  • Audit Kaizens, Standard Processes, Standard Work, LPA, and DM Boards as directed.
  • Interacts with multiple layers of management in identification and resolution of any issues that may arise during standard operations creations and update.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Specialized Knowledge:

  • Exhibit knowledge of the Masterbrand’s 4 Basics; Safe and Clean Workplace, Quality at or above expectations, complete on time delivery and Fashionable products at fair price
  • MBS tools: Time observations, 5Whys, Process Mapping, TPM, Standard Work, LSW etc.
  • Knowledge of Workplace Organization and Visual Controls (6S)
  • Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Strong analytical and business judgment including demonstrated problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Must be flexible and have ability to take on broader assignments for additional development opportunities.
  • Well-developed Organizational skills for managing & executing projects to expected results.

Education:

  • High school or equivalent, associate degree or higher preferred.

ABOUT THE JOB:

Each day, you will start your shift with an all-hands meeting to discuss production goals for the day, safety, and other plant matters. Together with your teammates, you will manufacture or assemble cabinets or cabinet components to meet or exceed production goals while keeping our Four Basics in Mind
