As a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will have the opportunity to transform the lives of children and their families by providing individualized speech, language, feeding, and swallowing therapy. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals who share your passion for helping children build essential skills and reach their fullest potential.
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Qualifications and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based pediatric speech therapy services targeting: Speech sound disorders and articulation Language delays and communication disorders Feeding and swallowing challenges Fluency and social communication skills Deliver personalized therapy sessions focused on improving functional communication and independence. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to support positive outcomes. Educate parents and caregivers on strategies to support continued progress at home. Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide family-centered care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to professional and regulatory standards. Qualifications Master's Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program. Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligible to obtain prior to start date). One year of experience preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFYs) and new graduates are encouraged to apply. Pediatric speech therapy experience preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus but not required. Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children and families.
