Hours/Schedule

Full-Time (40-hrs per week)

Days 8:00am-4:30PM

Education •High school diploma or equivalent required. •Some college preferred.

Experience • HIM/Medical Records: Minimum 1 year in HIM/medical records or related fields • Medical Record Regulatory Requirements: Working Knowledge Required • Analytical Skills: Intermediate required • Problem Solving Skills: Intermediate required • Data Analysis Skills: Basic required • Research Skills: Basic required • Computer Skills: Intermediate required • Microsoft Office: Working knowledge required • Knowledge of the Health Record: Working knowledge required • Medical Terminology: Preferred • EHR Terminology: Basic Required • Scanning Documents: Preferred • Coding/Billing Knowledge: N/A • Preferred Licensure: RHIT or RHIA • Preferred HIM Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in an acute care medical records department; Minimum 1 year experience in ROI or Analysis role in an acute care setting
