Overview The Nutrition Assistant represents Food and Nutrition Services by delivering multidisciplinary scope, including food and nutrition services, linen, laundry services, housekeeping, and supply management. The Patient Ambassador operates TUG robots for the delivery and exchange of supplies and patient meals to the nursing unit. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
At Mercy, the Nutrition Assistant plays an important role in supporting patient care through food and nutrition services. This position is responsible for delivering meals, snacks, and nutritional supplements, managing supplies and inventory, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The Nutrition Assistant also operates TUG robotic delivery systems and works closely with nursing units and other departments to ensure excellent service and patient satisfaction.
