Product Owner

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Product Owner to join our engineering team at Nordic Lights.

In this role, you’ll manage the life cycle of high-end LED lighting products and customer projects for some of the world’s leading heavy-duty vehicle manufacturers. You’ll work in a truly global environment, collaborating daily across Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Production, and Engineering to turn customer needs and business opportunities into successful solutions.

We’re looking for a proactive problem solver with an engineering background, strong coordination and networking skills, and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Global lifecycle management of dedicated products and product families, including development, ramp-up, product care, and phase-out activities
• Management of customer and NL projects in accordance with the R&D Process Description
• Project communication and coordination with customers and internal stakeholders, including Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and other relevant functions
• Responsibility for project schedules, timelines, and cost control

Mandate / Authority

• Order prototypes, tests, and trial runs
• Prioritize the product backlog within owned products
• Approve customer orders for non-released products
• Approve and execute production release of products
