The Opportunity & Your Impact

FORGE is Midtown’s Megaformer-style strength studio, offering a high-intensity, low-impact workout experience. Classes are performed on the XFormer using spring-based resistance, controlled movement, and sustained muscular tension to build total-body strength and endurance.

As a FORGE Instructor, you will bring your authentic coaching style, energy, and expertise to every class while driving participation, and creating an experience that motivates members to return consistently.

Job Overview

  • On site at a Midtown Athletic Club location.
  • Hourly, individual contributor role.
  • Delivers FORGE classes using the XFormer and designated equipment.
  • Works within Midtown’s boutique studio model and programming point of view.

How You’ll Contribute

  • Deliver exceptional experiences: Lead safe, engaging, and expertly coached classes that combine purposeful programming and meaningful member connection.
  • Build community and participation: Develop member relationships, deliver personal attention, and create an inclusive environment that encourages consistent attendance.
  • Bring FORGE programming to life: Execute each class with consistency and integrity while using your authentic coaching style to create an experience that feels dynamic and motivating.
  • Drive participation and engagement: Build a recognizable presence within the club, encourage consistent attendance, and contribute to the continued growth of Midtown’s studio programs.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • At least one nationally accredited strength training or Personal Training certification, Reformer or apparatus-based training, or previous Megaformer studio or Lagree method training.
  • Strong ability to lead, motivate, and engage groups of varying fitness levels.
  • Confidence performing in front of groups, with energy and presence.
  • Passion for movement, coaching, and creating meaningful experiences.
  • Ability to adapt coaching style to meet individual member needs.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and development.

How You’ll Know You’re Successful

  • Members consistently attend your classes and demonstrate strong engagement.
  • Classes deliver a safe, polished, and consistently on-brand FORGE experience.
  • Members provide positive feedback on coaching, energy, and connection.
  • You build a recognizable presence and engaged FORGE community within the club.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Range: $45 - $55 per class.

The final offered rate will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity.
