The Media Performance Analyst sits within the Strategy & Insight function of our Analytics team and drives our analytics-first approach through clear, insight-driven analysis of our clients' marketing, digital, and business objectives. This role analyzes campaign performance across digital and traditional media channels, identifies optimization opportunities, and translates complex data into actionable business insights.
What You’ll Do Here
- Perform regular analysis of marketing and campaign performance, user engagement, and KPIs to inform client and business objectives.
- Develop and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and performance summaries for internal stakeholders and clients, in partnership with senior analysts.
- Interpret data from a range of sources - digital marketing, traditional marketing, website analytics, point of sale, and audience/behavioral data - to draw meaningful, actionable insights.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across platforms through validation and quality checks.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within campaign and customer data.
- Monitor and analyze media performance across paid channels - paid search, social, display, video, CTV, audio, and traditional media.
- Support the test-and-learn process - helping ideate, design, and measure experiments that inform media optimization, timed strategically based on knowledge of client’s business and industry.
- Partner with the media team to support and help present test-and-learn recommendations, connecting results back to client business objectives.
- Support attribution, incrementality, and sales-lift analysis to measure marketing impact.
- Assist with coordination of tracking tags and parameter implementations supporting reporting and analytics.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to internal and client stakeholders, and support client meetings with performance updates.
- Support data integration between media platforms, CRM systems, and analytics environments, and help evaluate historical campaign performance to inform future planning.
- Build and maintain an understanding of current tools, technologies, and best practices relevant to the team's work.
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
- Must be willing to work EST hours (8am-4pm or 9am-5pm)
We Need a Person With
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, mathematics, statistics, economics, communications, or a related field (or relevant work experience).
- 2-5 years of professional experience in media and/or digital marketing analytics.
- Experience working in an advertising agency or relevant brand environment.
- Working understanding of campaign KPIs (impressions, engagement, conversions, ROAS, ROI, CPA) and attribution, customer-journey, and media measurement fundamentals.
- Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
- Some technical knowledge of BI and data-visualization tools (e.g.Tableau, Looker Studio, Power BI, DOMO) desirable; understanding of SQL or data warehouses a plus.
