Job Summary
The Diagnostic Imaging Aide supports the overall work flow of the Imaging modality assigned. The aide assists the technologist as needed, greets and prepares patients for their examination. answers telephones; performs general clerical work, provides general information to ED and Nursing areas, transports and assists patients when indicated.
Qualifications
- High School Required or
- GED Required
- 1-3 years Relevant experience in a hospital/medical or Radiology environment required
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- Must be computer literate.
