General Surgery Opportunity at MercyOne North Iowa: $462K Salary + $100K Bonus and SO MUCH MORE!

MercyOne is seeking a BC/BE General Surgeon to join its premier surgical team in Mason City, IA. This dynamic, high-volume, technologically advanced practice offers the full spectrum of surgical services, with opportunities to teach general surgery residents and medical students. J1 and H1B visa candidates are welcome to apply.

Opportunity Highlights

• Join the team of 3 General Surgeons, 1 Acute/Trauma General Surgeon, and 2 PA’s

• Hybrid General/Acute Trauma Surgeon model- 2 weeks of full-scope general surgery, 1 week of acute/trauma surgery coverage, 1 week off, every month

• Full scope: Surgical (laparoscopic, open, robotic), Endoscopy, Rounding & Clinic/ED consults

• Potential Outreach at our critical access hospitals

• Block OR time- we have 2 DaVinci XI Robots!

• OR/ASC 3 days; Clinic 2 days

• Call- 1:4 weekends

• EMR: EPIC

Benefits & Incentives

• 2-year guaranteed base: $462,000/year + production; production based starting year 3

• $100,000 Recruitment Incentive

• Moving allowance- up to $15,000

• 34 days of PTO when on base; 40 days of PTO when on production
