Job Description
Prepares pediatric patients for EKG and Cardiac Stress testing. Completes testing on patients and reports any abnormal results to provider in a timely manner. Trained in electrophysiology with the ability to monitor, test and adjust implanted devices such as pacemakers, defibrillators and loop monitors. Applies 24-hour holter monitors to patients and provides education. Records all holter monitor placement and once monitoring is completed and turned in, downloads readings from ZioSuite website and advances to provider for reading. Documents in EPIC all testing provided. Maintain certifications needed for position.
Additional Job Description
Education: High School Degree or Equivalent Work Experience: 2 years Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
