Job Description

Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and/or staff pharmacists, the pharmacy technician is responsible for general distribution activities, including but not limited to, computer order entry, medication order fill, preparation of intravenous admixtures, floor stock, and Pyxis med station medication filling, medication rounds and drug ordering and procurement activities, or other duties as assigned

Experience: One-year experience as a pharmacy technician or pursuing a graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program preferred.

Additional Job Description

Education: High School Degree or GED required

Licenses/Certification: Licenses/Certificates: Current registration as Pharmacy Technician in South Carolina or obtained within 6 months of hire
