The Department of Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation is hiring a pain medicine physician as a faculty member in our PM&R division. Job Description
The Department of Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation is hiring a pain medicine physician as a faculty member in our PM&R division. This hire will serve and support all missions in the department with clinical, research, and teaching responsibilities. The physical medicine and rehabilitation physician will increase patient access to our patient requiring interventional and non-interventional treatments for chronic pain. Strategically, this physician will travel to our ambulatory and outreach clinics in South Carolina.
The Department of Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine has 45 Faculty members serving the clinical, research, and education missions. The Department delivers the region’s most comprehensive range of musculoskeletal services, encompassing every orthopaedic subspecialty. We treat more than 14,000 patients each year with the most innovative technology and sophisticated procedures.
The preferred candidate will have a robust clinical background as well as a sincere interest in both education and research and possess education experience. This candidate must be board certified or board eligible in PM&R and the preferred candidate will also be board certified or board eligible in Pain Medicine.
