Overview: Schedule: Part-time (16 hours per week) Job Description Summary: Facilitates play-based activities and programs to promote child development and well-being. Job Description: Essential Functions: Performs assessments to identify needs of individual children. Designs and implements appropriate interventions. Communicates and collaborates with team members regarding patient and family experiences. Documents all patient interactions and maintains data related to activity participation. Maintains program resources and facilities to sustain safe, clean, and accessible learning and play environment. Provides training and supervision for volunteers to ensure safety and appropriate interaction. Assists with the planning and implementation of departmental events and programs. Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, Education, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent experience, required. Licensure Requirement: (not specified) Certifications: (not specified) Skills: Excellent communication skills with both children and adults. Planning and organizational skills including implementing interventions and programming for children of all ages. Leadership and supervisory skills.
