Supply Service Coordinator - Periop - Full Time Days

At NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, our Supply Service Coordinator is pivotal to the cost effective care and caring of our patients. Now, you can become one of the people who Make It Possible.

Assist in the daily activities associated with the processing distribution and monitoring the supplies for our Perioperative Areas for a Level I Trauma Center performing life-saving procedures in our 20 ORs daily. As a Supply Service Coordinator, you will maintain supplies and equipment in the operating rooms to insure smooth operation of the unit. In this role, you will act as liaison to Materials Management, Engineering and outside vendors to insure that appropriate supplies are delivered with no interruption in patient care. Maintain receiving files and records related to requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor contracts and enter inventory control data. Review Inventory Control reports and conduct physical counts of shelf stock.

This is a Full Time Day Shift (8A - 4P) at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens Hospital.

Preferred Criteria:

• Working knowledge of Lawson

Required Criteria:

• At least 1 year of previous inventory/operational systems experience
• Window based computer literacy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in inventory control or equivalent
• Knowledge of or experience with medical equipment and supplies.
