Description of Work
Leads and coordinates the hospital-wide Performance Improvement Program by organizing data, conducting audits, analyzing trends, and supporting departments in meeting quality and regulatory expectations. Provides regular reports to leadership and ensures corrective actions are effectively implemented. Oversees survey readiness by maintaining current knowledge of accrediting and regulatory standards, preparing required documentation, and providing consultation to ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and other agencies. Supports ongoing monitoring and hospital-wide preparation for external reviews. Supervises and guides the PI team, ensuring clear expectations, regular communication, and alignment with departmental and organizational goals. Manages personnel activities, problem-solving, and the integration of safety practices in daily operations. Delivers education, technical assistance, and specialized support to departments to strengthen performance improvement processes and staff understanding of regulatory requirements. Completes special projects as assigned by executive leadership.

Minimum Education and Experience

Master's degree in psychology, social work, education, health, business administration, marriage and family therapy or related human services field from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of experience in professional level treatment programming for the applicable client population; or Bachelor's degree in one of the fields listed above from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of experience as indicated above; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
