Job Description
Safely Operate draw benches to provide our customers with products of the highest value, quality, and performance.
- Operate safely and identify/correct unsafe situations.
- Follow work Instructions and process specifications for machine setup and production.
- Keep track of drawbench changeovers.
- Complete machine setup/changeover in a timely manner.
- Read micrometers.
- Perform routine quality checks/Visual inspections
- Enter quality checks into Route Card.
- Place nonconforming products on hold.
- Monitor the draw bench to ensure production of quality product.
- Report maintenance issues as they arise.
- Communicate with PCs, Team Leads, Process Techs, Maintenance, etc.
- Perform housekeeping to meet expectations.
- Must be willing to operate other equipment if needed.
Qualifications
- Previous Draw Bench experience preferred.
- Ability to meet production rates.
- Able to lift approx. 65 pounds continually.
- Possess excellent time management skills.
- Be a driven self-starter who requires minimal supervision.
- Able to meet expectations for safety and attendance.
- Possess an excellent quality record.
- Possess an excellent attitude, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Obtain and maintain a valid Forklift License
Compensation Information:
Compensation for this position is market-competitive and will be consistent with the pay practices for this role.
