Job Summary
As a Medical Kit & Returns Processor at Globus Medical Netherlands B.V., you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of medical kits for surgical cases and the meticulous handling of returned medical devices, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify the contents of incoming medical kits, comparing them against packing lists and product specifications.
- Assemble and prepare medical kits for shipment to healthcare facilities, ensuring all required instruments, implants, and components are present and properly organized.
- Clean, sterilize, and repackage instruments and implants according to established protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
- Process returned medical devices, including inspection for damage, identification of missing components, and disposition based on company policies (e.g., refurbishment, repair, scrap).
- Document all kit movements, returns, and discrepancies accurately in the inventory management system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment within the kit processing and returns area.
- Adhere to all quality control procedures, safety regulations, and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
- Collaborate with logistics, sales, and quality assurance teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
- Participate in inventory counts and audits as required.
- Operate and maintain relevant equipment (e.g., sterilization equipment, scanning devices).
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in a related field (e.g., medical device processing, logistics) is a plus.
- Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or medical device processing environment, preferably with experience handling sterile products.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with inventory management systems or similar software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 25 kg.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of or willingness to learn about medical device regulations and quality standards (e.g., ISO 13485, MDR).
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Starting salary – €33,000 per annum, plus an 8% holiday allowance, bonus, and additional benefits.
