Research Associate/Senior Research Associate - Peptide/High Potent APIs (HPAPI)/Organic/Antibody Drug Conjugation (ADC)

Peptide Chemist:

• Plan and execute solid-phase and solution-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS/LPPS) using automated synthesizers such as Syro and CEM Liberty Blue

• Independently handle peptide synthesis across scales from gram to 1 kg, with troubleshooting abilities

• Purify and characterize peptides using preparative HPLC, analytical HPLC, LC-MS, and MS
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain lab equipment to keep synthesis workflows running smoothly
• Maintain compliance with laboratory safety and SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) standards
• Review relevant literature to inform synthetic strategy and troubleshooting approaches
• Keep accurate, timely experimental records (lab notebooks, batch records, ELN entries as applicable)

High Potent APIs (HPAPI):

• Perform hands-on laboratory chemistry activities involving high-potency APIs / potent compounds.
• Execute chemical reactions, work-ups, purification and related laboratory processes.
• Handle HPAPIs in accordance with applicable safety, containment and handling procedures.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, experimental data and documentation.
• Support process development, optimization and troubleshooting activities.
• Perform analytical sample preparation and coordinate with analytical teams as required.
• Follow established GMP, EHS and laboratory safety requirements.
• Support investigation and resolution of laboratory/process-related issues.
• Where required, support chemistry activities related to ADC and highly potent payloads.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams including analytical and other chemistry groups.

Organic Chemist:

• Hands-on experience in performing chemical reactions from mg to gram scale independently under scientific guidance
• Strong knowledge of analytical and purification techniques, including NMR, Mass, HPLC, CombiFlash, and column chromatography
• Skilled in handling reaction setups, glassware assemblies, reagent charging, temperature control, and nitrogen operations
• Excellent documentation and data management practices with the ability to follow scientific procedures, patents, and experimental instructions accurately

Scaleup Chemist:

• Experience in process R&D, scale-up synthesis, and purification from gm to kg scale
• Skilled in handling 50L/100L GLR assemblies and basic technology transfer activities
• Proficient in 1H NMR, HPLC, and LCMS interpretation
• Strong project execution and team collaboration skills

Antibody Drug Conjugation Chemist (ADC)

• Synthesis and purification of complex antibody drug conjugate (ADC) molecules
• Synthesis of different types of linkers – using natural and unnatural amino acids, PEGs
• Synthesis of highly potent drug molecules – payloads
• Purification of complex and large molecules by flash column and HPLC
• Handling various type chemistry with different payloads
• Interpretation and characterisation of higher molecular weight compounds

Peptide Chemist:

• M.Sc. or M.Pharm in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in peptide synthesis

Principal Scientist;

• PhD/MSc in Organic Chemistry / Medicinal Chemistry or related field.
• Strong experience in CRO/CDMO research environment.
• Proven team management experience with exposure to handling multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to drive productivity, scientific excellence, and team development.

Organic Chemist:

• Master’s in Organic Chemistry with 1-3 years of experience in the CRO Industry Strong organisational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities.
• Proactive, highly motivated with a "can do" attitude
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.

Peptide/Scaleup/Antibody Drug Conjugation (ADC) Chemist:

• Master’s in Organic Chemistry with a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 6 years of experience in the CRO/API Industry
• Adherence to safe practices and procedures
• Contribution to the development of safety protocols and systems
• Must be able to prioritize and organize work responsibilities in order to meet deadlines
