The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a Fiscal Officer to join our Finance team. Under the direction of the College Director of Financial Operations and working within a collaborative team environment, the Fiscal Officer manages the fiscal and administrative operations for assigned academic and administrative support units within the College of Veterinary Medicine. This position oversees a broad range of financial operations including accounting, budgeting, compliance, post award grant support, and financial reporting. The role applies advanced knowledge of financial principles, university policies, and sponsored program requirements to support strategic financial management and operational effectiveness across the college.
The position will be responsible for the following:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and at least 4 years of financial management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Microsoft Excel.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with Workday, PI Portal, Microsoft Excel, knowledge of University policies and ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures; demonstrated high level of customer service; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; willingness to work as a team player.
Target Salary Range: $64,900 - $84,850 per year; commensurate with experience, internal equity, the unit’s available budget, and the candidate’s qualifications.
