Job Summary:

This recruitment will be used to fill one part-time (approximately 5-10 hours per week as needed), short-term, Biological Science Research Technician 1: Anatomy and Physiology Lab position for the College of Science, Department of Integrative Biology, at Oregon State University (OSU).This position is expected to last approximately 9 months.

This position supports research in the study of education outcomes in the human anatomy and physiology lecture and lab. Work performed may include technical research management relating to education outcomes in anatomy courses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Involvement with establishing research project procedures; coordinating activities of a small research experiment.
• Collects data, ensuring integrity of data collection methods using IRB and FERPA compliant protocols.
• Coding data in accordance with developed project procedures maintaining FERPA compliant and IRB compliant records.
• Collects data, ensuring integrity of data collection methods using IRB and FERPA compliant protocols.
• Collaborates with supervisor in weekly meetings.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of 2 or more years of human anatomy and physiology coursework or teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level.
• One year of experience working with whole body donors.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with education research.

$18.06-$23.88
