Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring multiple Staff Product Managers to join our Product team.
Oscar is the first health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform and a relentless focus on serving our members. We started Oscar in 2012 to create the kind of health insurance company we would want for ourselves—one that behaves like a doctor in the family.
About the role:
We are hiring Staff Product Managers to join our Network Pillar. By applying to this job post, you will be considered for all Staff Product Manager openings across our tech org.
Network (Provider Experience):
As a Staff Product Manager on our Network team, you will own the product strategy for Oscar’s end-to-end provider experience, spanning initial outreach and onboarding through ongoing servicing. You will define how Oscar becomes the easiest health insurance company for providers to do business with, reducing friction across critical journeys such as credentialing, authorizations, disputes, accounts receivable, and issue resolution. You will build account management, servicing, and self-service capabilities that give providers and frontline teams a clear understanding of each issue’s status and path to resolution. You will establish the measurement and visibility needed to understand every key provider journey, identify systemic sources of friction, and prioritize improvements across digital and operational touchpoints. You will partner across both the Network Building and Provider Data Management domains while collaborating with Network Operations, Claims Operations, Clinical Operations, and Member and Provider Service to create a cohesive provider experience that strengthens provider relationships and enables a superior member experience.
Network (Network Growth & Performance):
As a Staff Product Manager on our Network team, you will own the product strategy for the technology that enables Oscar to build and continuously improve high-performing provider networks. You will translate network strategies (e.g., product/benefit based networks, co-branded partnerships) into scalable capabilities for identifying network needs, prospecting providers, and moving opportunities through contracting. You will define the product strategy for network planning, lead management, contracting workflows, and performance visibility which will enable teams to build the right network quickly and understand where it needs to evolve over time. You will connect signals such as single-case agreements, out-of-network authorizations, member dissatisfaction, and medical loss ratio pressure to actionable network opportunities. You will partner deeply with Actuary, Network Contracting, Network Operations, Finance, Legal, and Data Science to improve decision-making, contracting execution, and network performance while ensuring signed contracts can be effectively operationalized by Network’s Provider Data Management domain.
You will report into a Director, Product.
Work Location:
This position is based in our New York City office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule. #LI-Hybrid
