General Description:
Provides warm and friendly shuttling services to patients, visitors, and staff using a 15+ passenger shuttle bus, ensuring safety, clear communication, and a helpful experience throughout OU Health campus locations.
Essential Responsibilities:

- Greet patients, visitors, and staff courteously; provide a friendly, helpful experience and respond to questions promptly.
- Operate a 15+ passenger shuttle bus and/or smaller vehicle to transport passengers between parking areas, entrances, clinics, and other designated campus locations.
- Assist passengers as needed with boarding and exiting, including support for mobility devices, in accordance with training and safety guidelines.
- Provides directions and general information concerning parking, wayfinding, designated drop-off and pick-up areas
- Communicate with dispatch to coordinate routes, handle requests, and report any delays or issues.
- Keep shuttle vehicle clean and presentable (interior/exterior) and ensure equipment is stored and used properly.
- Follow all traffic laws and hospital safety rules
General Responsibilities:
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: No experience required
License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current CDL Class C License with passenger endorsement issued by the State of Oklahoma required with clean driving record.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to drive in all weather conditions.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with team members, patients and visitors.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to organize and complete work in a timely manner.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Able to detect safety concerns and adjust accordingly
- Ability to work in a diverse environment and be sensitive to issues of diversity and inclusion
