Position Review

The Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst I performs detailed analytical and statistical review of the revenue cycle to identify and resolve billing and related problems in system applications. Act as an internal liaison to review, research, analyze, and resolve problems to ensure effective administration of system wide applications for integrated network operations. Assist in the development of procedures and standards; update and maintain dictionary tables and system master files; create test scenarios; prepare reports, documentation; oversee project status, communicate findings and train staff, as necessary.

Remote (Requires Washington State Residency)

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Two (2) years post high school education preferred

Experience:

  • Five (5) years of healthcare revenue cycle experience with background in research and analysis of billing problems required.
  • Experience in developing, implementing, operating, maintaining or using information systems in hospital and/or clinic settings preferred.

Special Training/Skills:

  • Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT and HCPC coding preferred
  • Knowledge of DRG’s, and APC’s preferred
  • Skill in organizing, prioritizing, and reprioritizing workloads
  • Ability to contribute to staff development through teaching, explanation, and example
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Ability to willingly accept responsibility
  • Ability to set priorities and use good judgment
