The Perplexity Research Fellowship is our flagship program for enabling the best early-career STEM talent to shape the future of frontier intelligence.

- When you're ready to apply, please complete and submit the application form. Make sure to carefully follow all instructions.

- We'll evaluate applications on a rolling basis, with priority consideration for submissions received by September 30, 2026.

- You should write your application without assistance from other humans or AI models. Submitting writing from other humans or AI models as your own will result in permanent disqualification from employment at Perplexity.

- Please note that the Perplexity Research Fellowship is not an internship program. If your requested Fellowship start date is before your graduation date, we will request verified proof of an approved leave of absence of 1 year or greater from your university as a precondition to any Fellowship offer. Failure to present satisfactory proof will lead to offer revocation.
