Job purpose We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our growing PHINIA SCM team as a Commodity Buyer. This position will support us in purchasing function and reports to Direct Material Manager. Key Responsibilities In line with global sourcing strategy to predict the commodity price trend Analysis the commodity market trend, analysis the price trend, Data analysis and reporting of ERP and purchasing data Responsible for the machining parts and the cost analysis Obtain the best price, negotiating offers with the highest potential for savings / cost avoidance Closely cooperating with Category Managers to achieve best results Work with plants and supplier in cases of late/ missed deliveries – analyze root cause and define corrective actions Work with troubleshooters related to price queries explanation Issue machining parts Pos to supplier Ensure personal objectives and KPIs are met Develop the raw material suppliers and machining supplier base Accomplish tasks assigned by supervisor or manager Make safety and environment the most important criteria in the working area and for the individual What we’re looking for Bachelor degree or above or equivalent experience 3 years of experience in a similar position or engineering or supply chain.
