About the role

We're hiring a Senior Frontend Developer to own meaningful parts of the Phoenix and Raven patient experience across web and mobile. This is a pivotal time: we're expanding into new treatment areas and relaunching a mobile experience and the frontend is where it all comes together.

You'll work with Product, Design, Growth, and Data to shape solutions, not just implement them, and you'll carry work from early idea through launch and iteration.

What you’ll do to support the company mission:

- Build and improve the flows where patients discover care, complete assessments, start treatment, and manage ongoing care

- Play a central role in launching our next mobile experience and set the foundations for building consistently across web and mobile

- Own frontend architecture decisions from technical discovery through production

- Write clean, well-tested code in React and TypeScript, working closely with our APIs and backend services

- Strengthen analytics and instrumentation so we understand how patients actually use the product

- Partner with Growth on conversion experiments and funnel improvements

- Raise the frontend bar through strong technical judgment, documentation, and guidance for the engineers around you

What will help you succeed in the role:

- Deep experience building and evolving consumer-facing web applications in React

- A track record of owning substantial features or technical areas from discovery through launch and iteration

- Experience shipping a mobile app to production (React Native is a plus; what matters most is having shipped something real)

- Strong command of TypeScript, component architecture, state management, testing, and performance

- Enough backend fluency to reason about APIs, data flows, and system-level tradeoffs

- The ability to explain technical tradeoffs clearly and make decisions collaboratively

- Care for accessibility, visual quality, and the small details that make a product feel trustworthy

Nice to have: Experience with Redux, Apollo/GraphQL, Storybook, Webpack, or Turborepo; product analytics or experimentation; healthcare or other regulated environments; mentoring frontend engineers.
