Lacamas Creek Post Acute
Lacamas Creek Post Acute is seeking a detail oriented and organized Medical Records Assistant to join our team on a part time basis. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate resident medical records while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and confidentiality standards.
Pay
- $19.29 to $24.11 per hour, based on experience

- Part time
Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize resident medical records in both electronic and paper formats
- Ensure medical records are complete, accurate, and up to date
- Process admissions, discharges, and transfers related to medical records
- File, scan, and retrieve documents as needed
- Protect resident confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with medical record audits and regulatory compliance
- Respond to requests for medical records in accordance with facility policies
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare providers, and staff
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous medical records or healthcare administrative experience preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA and medical records procedures preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with computers and electronic health record systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
